Connor Murphy and Ray Smith Selected in Emerging Category
Datahug, the enterprise relationship network, is announcing today that Datahug’s co-founders Connor Murphy and Ray Smith have emerged as finalists in the prestigious Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Out of the 150 plus best entrepreneurs in Ireland, Datahug and 23 others were selected as finalists from three categories – Emerging, Industry, and International. Murphy and Smith are represented in the Emerging category.
Ernst and Young’s Frank O’Keeffe, Partner-in-Charge of the Entrepreneur Of The Year Programme, said “The 24 selected finalists are significantly contributing to the creation of new jobs and opportunities in today’s challenging business environment, advancing innovation and creating value in Ireland and globally.”
Murphy and Smith co-founded Datahug to become an invaluable resource to businesses development and sales by utilizing their own employees’ network of contacts. Tapping into previously unknown business relationships affords companies more business opportunities and smarter cross-selling.
The overall winner of each category for the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards will be announced in Dublin October 24th.
